Any excuse is a great excuse for us to celebrate a holiday! Give me a reason to attempt crafting or new recipes and I am ready to go! I have put together a collection of fun ideas for St. Patrick’s day that maybe you haven’t thought about before. Although this day may not be the most celebrated ever, go make it fun!
Now for a little history lesson, I promise it’s interesting! Every year on March 17th, everyone who is Irish (and everyone who wants to be Irish) celebrate a day of shamrocks, beer, gold, and green. What most don’t know is this day started as a religious feast day in honor of the patron saint of Ireland. St. Patricks Day didn’t even start in Ireland, it was started in America 1737. Chicago celebrates this day by dyeing the Chicago River green!

Home & Décor-
Green is such a fun and vibrant color to use in your home and not just on St. Patricks day. It is especially great in beach homes with a lighter shade of green. As for Gold, our other St. Patricks Day color, it is taking over the home décor scene. Gold is coming back to the home with full force and we love it.
