Here at Seldens Designer Home Furnishings we are so much more than just a “furniture store”, we specialize in the details. So if you are looking to start from scratch, refresh a room, change color palettes, or just find inspiration Seldens is your destination. Working with a designer is a lot of fun and it can save you a ton of money and headache.

When you visit Seldens you might initially be overwhelmed by our large campus, with 100,000 sq feet of showroom you have a lot of product to view. You will never be pressured at Seldens, so if you just want to come in and walk our showrooms for inspiration we invite you. But if you have a project that you may need a second set of eyes on or don’t really know where to start, our designers are here to help you reveal that home makeover you are dreaming of no matter the size and all of our design services are complimentary.

Seldens Designers and Employees

When paired up with a designer of your choice the discovery process will start. Our designer will get to know you and your style along with your project and all that it entails. Our talented designers can draft off of blue prints or if you wish to set up a house call the designer will go out to your home to see everything first hand and take measurements and color samples.

Back at the store we have a section of our showroom set up just for client presentations. The Designer will set up the room with furniture, décor, rugs, and wall art to start pulling together the theme you are looking for in your home.

Once the designer feels they have mastered the look in the room, we invite you back into the store for your big reveal. Being able to visually put everything together before it goes to the home allows for a more personalized and guaranteed look for the customer.

If the customer likes the look, great, everything is ordered and set in to place with the help of the designer making sure things go as smoothly as possible along the way. If the customer did not like the presentation room décor, the designer will work with them until they get to that point of seeing exactly what they wanted for their home.

After speaking with Jill, she pointed out how many customers come in to our store and have no idea about our free design services. There is so much more to designing than most realize and sometimes it takes that professional to make your dream a reality. All you need is an idea and our designers will take it and run with it. Jill said, “Typically customers don’t realize how encompassing the design services are, especially the younger clientele. It’s the best deal in creating a home, you have someone with experience looking out for you and your budget.”

Most customers will find a designer they love and will come to them for years needings help designing different parts of their home. It’s great when you build a relationship with that person because you start to know exactly what their style is. “Let the designer take the stress and burden of designing off your shoulders”, Jill advised.
