We say you can give your home that beach vacation feel no matter where you are! It can be a theme in your whole home or just in one room (the bathroom is always a great one). There is just something so irresistible about that baby blue and anchors that has everyone dreaming of relaxing days!
COLOR:
This is the key to your inspiration. White, tan, light blue, gray, and navy are great colors to use in a beach house. It’s very refreshing having those light colors in your home.
THEME:
On top of the “beach house look” you want to decide which direction you want to take that. Do you want it to be more of a rustic feel, more nautical than beach, or a clean polished look?
MATERIALS:
Reclaimed or distressed wood looks great with the light colors of rustic beach theme. While metal and iron work for the rustic and the sleek polished look.
LIGHTING:
Try to use rooms with large open windows. When you have a lot of natural light in a room, it works best with this type of decor.
