Sure we North-westerners complain about the weather. But, part of the reason we love this place is because of the sometimes dramatic, sometimes wonderful and sometimes terrible changes of season. It’s January, our month of short days, dark nights, and winter frost.
So, in honor of Winter Frost, a few designer finds in keeping with the season:
The Zanadoo chandelier from Arteriors Home! Spikes of metal shoot from the center of this exciting fixture just like tiny shards of ice on the branches.
Love the traces of silver and white in the faux bois pattern on this pillow. It is very “wintery” and beautiful.
This room from Four Hands brings together coolness of stone, metal, and greyed wood finished. The Light fixtures also lend a sort of icicle effect with the cool, elongated cone shapes. Leathers and fabrics also bring in charcoal tones. Just the floor and chair finishes keep the room from getting too cool by bringing in the natural wood tones. Nice snowy cream tones are in the carpet and on the walls. The overall theme of this room is very serene and chic.
