2017 is the Year of the Rooster and we’re counting down the days to Chinese New Year. Millions of families around the world are preparing to celebrate with food, fun and fireworks.

The Eve of the New Year is observed with families coming together for a reunion dinner, the most popular course is jiaozi, dumplings boiled in water (potstickers). At midnight, the whole sky will be lit up by fireworks and firecrackers signaling the end of the last year and the beginning of the next.
